Help Mercy through 8 rounds of treatment for stage 3 ovarian cancer
Mercy is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Mercy was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in October. The oncology team at Onitsha Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in January. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Mercy is 55, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Onitsha Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $310
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $75
• Scans and lab work: $210
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,105
