Help Mensah keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Kumasi is running low just as demand rises; $450 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Saturday from the back of a community center. We started with 20 families, and now we feed 191 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 56% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Kumasi market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $130
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $190
• Baby formula and diapers: $95
• Refrigeration and electricity: $35
