Help me through 4 rounds of treatment for cervical cancer

4 rounds of treatment are planned at the Los Angeles Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Los Angeles
In August I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. My oncology team at the Los Angeles Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in November. I was told to expect about 7 weeks away from work. I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 54, I worked as a cleaner at a hospital until August, and I have been the main earner for my household. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to the Los Angeles Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly. My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $8,800 goes: • Scans and lab work: $1,100 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,000 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $700 If you're reading this, thank you.

Scans and lab work is $1,100 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks, that means a lot.
