Help me pay for valve repair surgery at Ogbomosho Orthopedic Institute
Kunle needs valve repair surgery at Ogbomosho Orthopedic Institute and the family is $600 short of the hospital's estimate.

In August I was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst. My surgeon at Ogbomosho Orthopedic Institute recommended valve repair surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for November. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $1,000, and after what my employer's plan will pay, I'm still $600 short.
Doctors at Ogbomosho Orthopedic Institute told me a large ovarian cyst will get worse without valve repair surgery. I work as a restaurant cook, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $1,000 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a restaurant cook have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Recovery is expected to take about 12 weeks. I'll not be able to stand for more than ten minutes during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $600 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $30
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $65
• Physiotherapy sessions: $70
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $435
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.
