Help me pay for valve repair surgery at Montpellier Community Hospital
A scheduled valve repair surgery in February is out of reach without help covering $3,650 of the cost.

In October I was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair. My surgeon at Montpellier Community Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for February. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $4,850, and after what the government subsidy will pay, I'm still $3,650 short.
Doctors at Montpellier Community Hospital told me a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without valve repair surgery. I work as a hotel cleaner, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $4,850 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a hotel cleaner have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. I'll not be able to climb stairs during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $3,650 goes:
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $340
• Travel and lodging for the family: $200
• Post-operative medication: $200
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $2,910
I hope life is good to you.

I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Birmingham but we're thinking of you. All the best.
