Help me pay for laparoscopic cyst removal at Pokhara General Hospital
After endometriosis requiring surgery, Dipa was cleared for laparoscopic cyst removal, but the bill is more than we can manage.

In January I was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery. My surgeon at Pokhara General Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and I have been placed on the schedule for April. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $800, and after what the public health scheme will pay, I'm still $400 short.
Doctors at Pokhara General Hospital told me endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. I work as a farm laborer, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $800 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a farm laborer have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
The recovery period is expected to take about 3 weeks. I'll not be able to climb stairs during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $400 goes:
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $95
• Hospital stay (2 nights): $280
• Physiotherapy sessions: $25
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Wishing you peace. This could happen to any of us. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
