Help me pay for knee replacement surgery at London Orthopedic Institute
Arianna needs knee replacement surgery at London Orthopedic Institute and the family is $7,300 short of the hospital's estimate.

In April I was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect. My surgeon at London Orthopedic Institute recommended knee replacement surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for July. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $12,250, and after what the government subsidy will pay, I'm still $7,300 short.
Doctors at London Orthopedic Institute told me an aortic valve defect will get worse without knee replacement surgery. I work as a retail assistant, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $12,250 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a retail assistant have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. I'll not be able to drive during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $7,300 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $3,250
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $2,950
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $280
• Post-operative medication: $160
• Physiotherapy sessions: $510
• Travel and lodging for the family: $150
Thanks for being kind about this.
