Help me pay for gallbladder removal at Naples General Hospital
A scheduled gallbladder removal in June is out of reach without help covering $5,600 of the cost.

In February I was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes. My surgeon at Naples General Hospital recommended gallbladder removal, and I have been placed on the schedule for June. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $8,000, and after what my employer's plan will pay, I'm still $5,600 short.
Doctors at Naples General Hospital told me severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without gallbladder removal. I work as a warehouse packer, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $8,000 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a warehouse packer have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. I'll not be able to walk without help during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
