Help me pay for gallbladder removal at Dar es Salaam General Hospital
A scheduled gallbladder removal in October is out of reach without help covering $500 of the cost.

In August I was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections. My surgeon at Dar es Salaam General Hospital recommended gallbladder removal, and I have been placed on the schedule for October. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $710, and after what our health plan will pay, I'm still $500 short.
Doctors at Dar es Salaam General Hospital told me gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without gallbladder removal. I work as a hotel cleaner, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $710 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a hotel cleaner have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Recovery is expected to take about 6 weeks. I'll not be able to climb stairs during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
