Help me pay for emergency hernia repair at Campinas University Hospital
After osteoarthritis in the right knee, Wagner was cleared for emergency hernia repair, but the bill is more than we can manage.

In September I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee. My surgeon at Campinas University Hospital recommended emergency hernia repair, and I have been placed on the schedule for December. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $2,150, and after what the public health scheme will pay, I'm still $1,700 short.
Doctors at Campinas University Hospital told me osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without emergency hernia repair. I work as a seamstress, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $2,150 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a seamstress have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 8 weeks. I'll not be able to drive during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
