Help me pay for cataract surgery at Quezon City General Hospital

After endometriosis requiring surgery, Joshua was cleared for cataract surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Quezon City
In August I was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery. My surgeon at Quezon City General Hospital recommended cataract surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for November. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $2,100, and after what the government subsidy will pay, I'm still $1,250 short. Doctors at Quezon City General Hospital told me endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without cataract surgery. I work as a call-centre agent, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $2,100 is far beyond what I've. Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a call-centre agent have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk. The recovery period is expected to take about 4 weeks. I'll not be able to climb stairs during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one. I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section. Where the $1,250 goes: • Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $690 • Physiotherapy sessions: $80 • Hospital stay (3 nights): $320 • Pre-operative tests and imaging: $55 • Travel and lodging for the family: $105 Thank you for reading my story.
