Help me pay for ACL reconstruction at Mecca Community Hospital
A scheduled ACL reconstruction in August is out of reach without help covering $2,500 of the cost.

In May I was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections. My surgeon at Mecca Community Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and I have been placed on the schedule for August. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $5,000, and after what my insurance will pay, I'm still $2,500 short.
Doctors at Mecca Community Hospital told me a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without ACL reconstruction. I work as a market vendor, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $5,000 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a market vendor have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 5 weeks. I'll not be able to work a full shift during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.

• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,850
• Travel and lodging for the family: $130
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $260
