I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an accounting degree at Nashik Polytechnic, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a tutor to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $400.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Nashik Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $400 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $210
• Final term tuition: $135
• Exam and lab fees: $25
• Textbooks and materials: $30

Wishing you the best. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
sending strength, Alka. I hope things turn around soon.
