Help me finish an accounting degree at Addis Ababa State College - $500 to go
A first-generation student, Ephrem needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an accounting degree.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an accounting degree at Addis Ababa State College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a library assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $500.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Addis Ababa State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $500 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $165
• Final term tuition: $290
• Exam and lab fees: $25
• Textbooks and materials: $20
