Help me finish a teaching qualification at the Kingston Institute of Technology - $1,850 to go
A first-generation student, Brianna needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a teaching qualification.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a teaching qualification at the Kingston Institute of Technology, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a tutor to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,850.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Kingston Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,850 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $790
• Final term tuition: $930
• Exam and lab fees: $55
• Textbooks and materials: $75
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

so sorry you're going through this. Hope you get there. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care.
Hang in there, Brianna. Shared this with my family. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best
