Help me finish a teaching qualification at Machakos University - $700 to go
Kato has worked and saved for three years to study a teaching qualification; a $700 gap now stands between him and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a teaching qualification at Machakos University, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $700.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Machakos University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $700 goes:
• Final term tuition: $280
• Outstanding tuition balance: $400
• Exam and lab fees: $20
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Machakos
Thank you. If you're in Machakos I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Good question.
Keep going. Shared this with my family. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out.
