Help me finish a teaching qualification at Lagos University - $400 to go
Festus is one semester away from finishing a teaching qualification but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $400.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a teaching qualification at Lagos University, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a tutor to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $400.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $400 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $40
• Final term tuition: $330
• Exam and lab fees: $30

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Festus!
Sending good thoughts. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. After 26 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Dwarka.
hope things get better soon, Festus. Shared this with my family. Sent it to 26 people at work
