Help me finish a nursing degree at Brandon Polytechnic - $2,900 to go
A first-generation student, Oliver needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a nursing degree.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a nursing degree at Brandon Polytechnic, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a shop assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $2,900.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Brandon Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,100
• Final term tuition: $1,200
• Exam and lab fees: $195
• Textbooks and materials: $405
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Brandon
Thank you. If you're in Brandon I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Ask me anything else.
hope you get there. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Rooting for you. I hope things turn around soon. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.
Good luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
thinking of you, Oliver. This could happen to any of us. Take care.
