Help me finish a nursing degree at Bogor Polytechnic - $850 to go
A first-generation student, Umar needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a nursing degree.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a nursing degree at Bogor Polytechnic, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a warehouse packer to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $850.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $850 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $410
• Final term tuition: $390
• Exam and lab fees: $35
• Textbooks and materials: $15

Sending love, Umar. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
How is Umar doing now?
Praying for you, Umar. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
