Help me finish a master's in public health at Arlington Polytechnic - $4,800 to go
A first-generation student, Skylar needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a master's in public health.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a master's in public health at Arlington Polytechnic, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $4,800.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Arlington Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $4,800 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,650
• Final term tuition: $2,900
• Exam and lab fees: $90
• Textbooks and materials: $160
Thanks for being kind about this.

So sorry you're going through this, Skylar. Hope this works out for you
Sending good thoughts, Skylar. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
You're not alone, Skylar. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Lahore so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Arlington.
Hope things get better soon. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Don't give up. God bless
