I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a law degree at Bengaluru Community College, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a delivery rider to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $800. The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility. I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Bengaluru Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $800 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $35 • Outstanding tuition balance: $400 • Final term tuition: $365 Glad we found this place.

  • Thinking of you and your family. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Phuket.

Take care, Shilpa. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn.
