Genet has worked and saved for four years to study a degree in social work; a $500 gap now stands between her and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a degree in social work at Adama Community College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a tutor to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $500.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Adama Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $500 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $240
• Final term tuition: $220
• Exam and lab fees: $30
• Textbooks and materials: $10
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending love, Genet. Study hard! Wish I lived closer to Sakai so I could bring a meal. Blessings
