Help me finish a degree in civil engineering at Mthatha Polytechnic - $900 to go
Nokuthula is two terms away from finishing a degree in civil engineering but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $900.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a degree in civil engineering at Mthatha Polytechnic, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a library assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $900.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.9 average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $900 goes:
• Final term tuition: $240
• Exam and lab fees: $80
• Outstanding tuition balance: $580
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Mthatha
Thank you. If you're in Mthatha I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. It helps to be asked.
sending strength. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.
