I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a computer science degree at Caxias do Sul Community College, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a barista to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,500.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Caxias do Sul Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $450
• Exam and lab fees: $50
• Final term tuition: $1,000
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Tacoma.
Praying for you, Heitor. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. It's not much but it's yours. Take care.
