Help Maverick through 8 rounds of treatment for multiple myeloma
Supporting Maverick through multiple myeloma: medication, transport to Baton Rouge Regional Medical Center, and living costs while He can't work.
🇺🇸 United States1,234 views
Maverick was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in August. The oncology team at Baton Rouge Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Maverick is 39, worked as a bakery worker until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Baton Rouge Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $9,900 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $850
• Transport to Baton Rouge Regional Medical Center: $520
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,750
• Scans and lab work: $1,780
Thank you so much.

Thanks for sharing this, Lillian. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from San Antonio!
