The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. Mauricio received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on January unless $200 is paid. He had never been late before November's medical emergency. Mauricio called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $35 first, which isn't available.
