Help Matthias lay Jonas to rest with dignity in Dresden
After the sudden passing of Jonas, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Jonas, my grandfather, passed away on 25 April after a stroke. He was 82 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,900 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 10 May.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Jonas to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Funeral home services and casket: $2,850
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,400
• Transport of the deceased: $370
• Memorial gathering for the family: $280
