Bruno is my senior cat of nine years. On 26 August we rushed to Bakersfield Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,650. They have stabilized Bruno, but the treatment can't wait beyond December. Bruno is more than a pet - Bruno is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $180 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Bakersfield Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Bruno's recovery.
