Help Masud keep the Bread & Beans Kitchen pantry stocked
Masud runs a volunteer pantry feeding 100 families; this fund restocks shelves for the school holidays.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Thursday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 22 families, and now we feed 100 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 33% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 19 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Gazipur market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $250 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $105
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $100
• Refrigeration and electricity: $45
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

You're not alone, Masud. Shared this with my family. Please keep us posted. Take care.
hope things get better soon, Masud. More neighborhoods should do this. Wish I lived closer to Badagry so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
wishing you the best, Masud. Great idea, hope you get there. Greetings from Timișoara
