Help Marwan save Ziggy - surgery needed
Ziggy, Marwan's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $400.
🇪🇬 Egypt295 views
Ziggy is my German shepherd of two years. On 20 August we rushed to Heliopolis Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Heliopolis Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $400 goes:
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $115
• Emergency surgery: $220
• Medication and follow-up visits: $65
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Updates from Marwan
Update from Heliopolis: the plan for hospitalization is now scheduled. We're at 2% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($121 in total) we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Update from Heliopolis: I met with the vet clinic and confirmed the amounts. We're at 5% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

Sending strength. Hope the recovery goes smoothly. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
