Help Marites keep the the Harvest Pantry pantry stocked
Marites runs a volunteer pantry feeding 271 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Sunday from the back of a community center. We started with 19 families, and now we feed 271 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 39% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Pasig market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $450 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $70
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $170
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $210

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Marites.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. refrigeration and electricity comes first ($70) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
