Help Maricel replace the transmission and return to work
Maricel's my taxi is Maricel's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $250.
🇵🇭 Philippines1,972 views
I make my living with my taxi. 7 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $250 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $145
• Labor charges: $35
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $45
• Towing and inspection: $25
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

how is Maricel doing now?
Thinking of you and your family, Maricel. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'll check back for the next update. God bless
thanks for sharing this, Maricel. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Sent it to 28 people at work.
