Oscar is my German shepherd of thirteen years. On 1 August we rushed to Santos Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $350. They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar got me through my hardest year. I have already put $90 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Santos Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Oscar's recovery. Where the $350 goes: • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $110 • Medication and follow-up visits: $60 • Emergency surgery: $180 Thank you so much.

Updates from Mariana

Good news. Because of your gifts ($163 in total) I made the first payment toward emergency surgery. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
