Help María with an overdue electricity and water bill before winter
A disconnection notice for electricity and water arrived and María needs $250 before December.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. María received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless $250 is paid. She had never been late before an unexpected car repair.
María called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which isn't available.
The household includes two young children, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Marían is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
