Michelle, my mother, passed away on 8 February after a short illness. She was 79 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,700 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 25 February.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Michelle to have a dignified farewell.
