After a violent robbery, Maria has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred her to family counseling, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at a private practice in Rome cost $90 each.
Maria has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Maria could afford. The therapist recommends 20 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
