The heating account is 3 months behind. Marco received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless $500 is paid. He had never been late before August's medical emergency.
Marco called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $95 first, which isn't available.
The household includes two young children, and going through the rainy season without heating isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
Marco is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
