Help Marcel through 12 rounds of treatment for thyroid cancer
Marcel is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Marcel was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in May. The oncology team at the Regensburg Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Marcel is 36, worked as a bank teller until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Regensburg Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Household costs while unable to work: $1,450
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,200
• Transport to the Regensburg Oncology Institute: $880
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $220
