Help Manuel save Biscuit - surgery needed
Biscuit, Manuel's tabby kitten, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $400.
🇵🇭 Philippines880 views
Biscuit is my tabby kitten of six years. On 27 May we rushed to Quezon City Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $65 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Quezon City Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $400 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $200
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $125
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $35
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
Updates from Manuel
Good news. Because of your gifts ($56 in total) the first invoice got paid this week. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
