After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Thiruvananthapuram, and the lease starts on Wednesday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.

Thinking of you, Mangesh. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. God bless.
