After a violent robbery, Mandla has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to weekly cognitive behavioral therapy, but the public waiting list is 8 months, and private sessions at Mthatha Wellbeing Centre cost $25 each.
Mandla has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Mandla could afford. The therapist recommends 12 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Mandla, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment.
The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Mandla
12 therapy sessions is $320 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Fair thing to want to know.
