Help Mame replace the transmission and return to work
Without my ride-share car Mame can't work; a $950 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 7 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $950. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $950 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $440
• Labor charges: $230
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $210
• Towing and inspection: $70
With deep gratitude,
Mame

Stay strong, Mame. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Makassar.
