Help Mai with an overdue electricity bill before summer

The electricity account is 4 months behind. Mai received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on March unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before an unexpected car repair. Mai called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which isn't available. The household includes an elderly mother, and going through summer without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. Mai is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
