Deepak, my brother, passed away on 1 August after complications from pneumonia. He was 76 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $250 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 13 August. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Deepak to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $250 goes: • Memorial gathering for the family: $25 • Transport of the deceased: $40 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $185 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Mahesh
