Max is my senior cat of thirteen years. On 1 July we rushed to Uppsala Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,150. They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond September. Max is more than a pet - Max got me through my hardest year. I have already put $260 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Uppsala Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,150 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,900 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $160 • Medication and follow-up visits: $90 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
