Help Madushan replace the transmission and return to work
Without my ride-share car Madushan can't work; a $300 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 8 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $300 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $15
• transmission replacement (parts): $250
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. towing and inspection is the biggest at $15. Good question.
