Help Madhuri keep the the Sunday Shelf pantry stocked
Madhuri runs a volunteer pantry feeding 77 families; this fund restocks shelves for the summer.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Saturday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 19 families, and now we feed 77 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 38% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Vadodara market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $250 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $160
• Refrigeration and electricity: $55
• Baby formula and diapers: $35
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Updates from Madhuri
Update from Vadodara: I met with the wholesaler and confirmed the amounts. We're at 54% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($125 in total) the first invoice got paid this week. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely. - Madhuri
