Help Madhavi finish a teaching qualification at Jaffna Polytechnic - $900 to go

Madhavi is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at Jaffna Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $900. The registrar has said Madhavi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Madhavi has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Madhavi would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Madhavi isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $900 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $540 • Final term tuition: $290 • Exam and lab fees: $30 • Textbooks and materials: $40 I hope life is good to you. - Chathurika
