Help Mackenzie save Mocha - surgery needed

A German shepherd named Mocha needs emergency surgery - a $2,350 bill the family can't cover.

Mocha is my German shepherd of thirteen years. On 11 October we rushed to Colorado Springs Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,350. They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond January. Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $330 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Colorado Springs Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,350 goes: • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $310 • Emergency surgery: $1,750 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $290 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Mackenzie
