Mackenzie is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at San Antonio Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,600.
The registrar has said Mackenzie can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Mackenzie has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Mackenzie would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Mackenzie isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the San Antonio Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Exam and lab fees: $190
• Textbooks and materials: $150
